NEWS ALERT: PLM produces 3 topnotchers, 100% passing rate in licensure exam for nursing

Three graduates of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) topped the November 2021 Nursing Licensure Examination.

PLM alumnus Jhon Paul Francisco emerged as the Top 3 in the said licensure examination after garnering a score of 88.20%.

PLM College of Nursing graduates Mary Rose Melicor and Jessielyn Mae Tan also topped the board exam after placing seventh and eighth respectively. Melicor had a score of 87.20% while Tan had a score of 87.00%.

The Pamantasan likewise recorded a 100% passing rate as all 13 first time takers passed the examination.

“Congratulations to our newest licensed nurses! There could not have been a better time for the 13 of you to formally join the frontlines of our country’s healthcare system,” PLM President Emmanuel Leyco said.

“As nurses for the people, may you carry out your duties with sincere compassion and care,” Leyco added.

The passing rate of PLM exceeds the national passing rate of 51.46%. According to the Professional Regulation Commission, there are about 6,086 newly licensed nurses.
