NEWS ALERT: Manila launches Manila EntrePinoy

In a bid to provide livelihood opportunities amid the pandemic, the Manila Bureau of Permits launched on Thursday, October 28, an online masterclass for free to the public.

Bureau of Permits Director Levi Facundo said that Manila EntrePinoy was launched to help the economy not only of the nation’s capital but the country as well.

According to Facundo, the online masterclass was in partnership with the farmers and other private companies.

“Farmers should be part of our community kasi kapag nawala sila, wala tayong kakainin. So kasama sila doon sa ating program,” Facundo said.

“Lahat tayo dito, tulong tulong sa pag-aangat ng pamumuhay ng bawat isa. Patuloy tayong hahanap ng mga paaran para makatulong sa buhay ng lahat,” he added.

The Manila EntrePinoy masterclass will focus on how to make donuts, polvoron, noodle technology, piaya, hopia, and steamed buns depending on the interest of the registrant.

Facundo said that the masterclass is open to the all even to non-Manilans. Interested participants can register thru:

“Maraming nawalan ng trabaho lalo na this time of pandemic kaya we will not stop. Magbibigay tayo ng trabaho, trabaho, trabaho para sa lahat,” Facundo said.

The Bureau of Permits chief added that the city government of Manila will continue to come up with programs and projects that will benefit all possible sectors.

“We are not stopping because the pandemic is not stopping as well. Patuloy tayong mag-iisip ng mga paraan para matulungan lahat ng sector the best way possible,” Facundo said.

“We will continue to find ways outside the box and try to help more people na magkaroon or at least save whatever is left para matulungan sila. This is for them, not for us,” he added.
