“Cooking started as a hobby and ended up being my career. My family has always been my inspiration to become a better cook. Earned most of my cooking degree here in the Philippines and did a continuous education at Napa Valley, California. Twenty-Three years of experience in the culinary field while pre-opened four hotels and five restaurants. My training was mostly here in the Philippines with local and foreign chefs. Working for different chefs gave me the drive and passion that enhanced my cooking skills. I continue to this day doing research and developing my signature dishes using mostly local ingredients with minimal foreign produce. I focused on extending the boundaries of our local cuisine without pretension while protecting its heritage. I love cooking Filipino food and cooking another cuisine second.
