LOOK: Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso inspected on Tuesday, January 11, the ongoing construction of the 10-storey Manila Science High School along Taft Avenue.
Domagoso was joined by City Engr. Armand Andres during the said inspection of the soon to be fully air-conditioned public School and with several facilities and amenities.
Features of the new Manila Science High School includes the following: 158 classrooms, 16 offices, 1 library, 1 canteen, 1 gymnasium, 2 outdoor basketball court with retractable goal convertible to football field, 1 rooftop deck outdoor sport & exercise area, 5 units elevator with 24 persons each capacity, and 5 stairs node.
“Matutuwa yung mga magulang ng estudyante. First class! Parang private,” Domagoso said.
“Parang magiging La Salle na ito! Ang ganda pa kasi nasa Taft Avenue!” he added.
As of January 7, construction status of the Manila Science High School is at 12.07% complete.
Domagoso further said that COVID-19 booster shots will be provided to the workers of the ongoing construction projects of the government.
“Sa lahat ng construction site natin, mag-i-schedule ako on site, para di masayang trabaho nila” Domagoso said.
“Hindi naman pwedeng tumigil ang trabaho, para hindi na umabsent at masayang yung kita nila, papadala ako,” he added.
