LOOK: Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso led the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Ramon Magsaysay High School.

Domagoso said that reconstruction of the 10-storey fully airconditioned Ramon Magsaysay is to further address the educational sector.

“Ang edukasyon ay isa sa pangunahing susi ng tagumpay o pag-angat sa buhay ng tao at ang kahalagahan ng guro ay dapat puhunanan ng gobyerno,” Domagoso said.
“We will invest in our teachers to enhance their skill sets,” he added.

Once built, among the features of the Ramon Magsaysay include the following: No. of classrooms: 232, Office/faculty rooms: 18, Canteen at ground floor, Library at 2nd floor, Admin. building, Auditorium, Gymnasium, Play area, Outdoor sports area at roof deck, 8 units elevator, Hallway, Elevator lobby, and Parking spaces.

Following the groundbreaking ceremony, the Manila City government is simultaneously constructing four state of the art public schools. The other three school projects are: Rosauro Almario Elementary School, Manila Science High School, and Dr. Alejandro Albert Elementary School.
