Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan was assisted by MPD Director PBGen. Andre Dizon during the inspection of police assets available for use.

Lacuna-Pangan then reminded the police of their duty to ensure public safety and effective maintenance of peace and order within their areas of jurisdiction.

In return, the Mayor assured the City’s support to the Manila Police District with regards to their much needed resources such as additional police mobiles and motorbikes.

MPD, which is comprised of 4,043 uniformed and 171 non-uniformed personnel, was also tasked by the Mayor to provide additional security during night time especially near schools and universities.
