IN PHOTOS: Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso on Wednesday, November 27, welcomed the delegates and board of directors of the Filipino Young Leaders Program at the Mayor’s office, Manila City Hall.

Domagoso shared a progress report on the series of measures the capital is currently engaged in and his plans for utilizing technology for the ease of transactions and eliminating corruption.

“Nag-i-innovate din ang corruption, but if you lessen human interaction: natural death of corruption,” Domagoso said.

The pool delegates introduced themselves to the mayor, highlighting their passion projects and advocacies as change-makers representing the Filipino-American community.

Likewise, he praised the young leaders for acknowledging their roots as Filipinos and for their contributions in nation building.

“Instead of blaming each other, we should take care of each other. We may have different views but we should be united, setting aside our differences because at the end of the day, Pilipino ka pa ‘rin.”

The Mayor also assured everyone that he would continue do his best for the city.

“I cannot guarantee you success, for failure is inevitable; but at the very least, Manila will be different,” Domagoso said.
