NEWS ALERT: Manila deploys 2 million COVID-19 vaccine shots

More than 2,000,000 vaccines have already been administered by the Manila City government since the massive vaccine roll-out began last March.

As of 6:00 pm on Wednesday, September 1, the local government tallied about 2,009,171 vaccine doses already administered against COVID-19.

About 1,265,473 have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 792,505 have been fully vaccinated.

Manila City Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ expressed his gratitude to his constituents who heeded the government’s call to get vaccinated.

Domagoso assured that his administration will continue to address the situation inclusively not only for Manilenos but also for the general public.

The Mayor also said life-saving medication such as Tocilizumab and Remdesivir can be availed from the local government for anyone who needs it.
