Manila City Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso received on Thursday, July 7, the electrical beds and other medical supplies the local government procured for its six district hospitals.

Domagoso said the beds, which are equipped with fully-electric main controls and foot-end control panels, will be used for Intensive Care Unit (ICU) departments.

Apart from the electric beds, the following were also procured by the local government: 72 Ambu Bags, 72 pieces of Blood Pressure Apparatus, 43 Glucometers, 18 Ophthalmoscopes, 31 Stretcher beds, 79 Suction Machines, and 59 Tabletop Pulse Oximeters.

Domagoso said the equipment were procured in line with the local government’s continuous preparations to handle critical cases in the city’s district hospitals.

“Gusto natin maging laging handa.

To achieve this, having the right equipment is key,” he added.
