IN PHOTOS: Manila City government officials joined the Clean Air Asia’s Asia Blue Skies Program on Thursday, February 27 held at the Division of City Schools, Manila.

Representatives who attended the activity were from Manila City departments including the Department of Public Services, Department of Engineering and Public Works, Manila Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office, Manila Public Information Office and representatives from the City Council.

During the seminar, several concerns relating to the city’s air quality and the effects of air pollution were discussed. Activities were also held to further analyze the capital’s current air quality situation and draft a ‘Clean Air Action Plan’ (CAAP).

The Manila city government partnered with Clean Air Asia to utilize cost-effective strategies to control and reduce emissions in a specified area thus protecting human health and the environment.
