General Vicente P. Lim, a charter member of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, and the first Filipino who graduated from West Point Academy (1929) in the United States, and was the only foreign cadet to graduate that year.

He continued to inspire and to lead throughout the gallant stand at Bataan and he was among those survived during the Bataan Death March on April 9, 1944, while never compromising his principles and stayed true to “Duty, Honor and Country” to the very end.
