NEWS ALERT: MTPB traffic enforcers apprehend snatchers along Roxas Boulevard

Enforcers of the Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB) apprehended three robbers in Malate, Manila.

In a complaint filed before the city prosecutor, the suspects were identified as Jaen Nestor, 29, Ronnie Sumarong, 30, and Winnemar Rockwell, 45.

The suspects were arrested by MTPB enforcers Eduardo Cortiguerra, Angelito Tongol, and Joselito Galicio during the incident that transpired along Roxas Boulevard at around 11:20am last February 5.

Security guard Mabini Katalbas, 47, and construction worker Jano Soriano, 27, were the complainants of the case.

According to the sworn statement submitted by the complainants, the robbery incident happened in JDP Construction and Trading Inc. when Katalbas noticed the suspects getting scrap materials from their construction site.

The suspects immediately fled the scene carrying the scrap materials that they took but were apprehended by the MTPB enforcers and the complainants.

Recovered from the suspects were scrap metal of constructional materials worth P1,400. The stolen items have already been transferred to the custody of the construction company.
