Bureau of Permits Director Levi Facundo said that the first day for the business permits renewal was a “blockbuster.”

“As early as 8:00 am, marami na po ang nakapila para sa ating business one-stop shop. In fact, we already have over 500 processed permits right now,” Facundo said.

“Umaabot po ang ating mga negosyanteng permitted ng 57,000. So we’re expecting na ang isang araw po ay hindi bababa ng isang libo [ang ating ma-process],” he added.

Facundo likewise encouraged business taxpayers to use the city’s Go Manila App in order to renew their business permits for them to lessen their exposure to COVID-19.

Facundo also noted that a 10% discount will be given to taxpayers who will complete their renewal on or before January 20, 2021, or the last day of the operation.

The one-stop shop is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday, while 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for Saturdays at the 4th floor level of SM City Manila.
