LOOK: The Urban Settlements Office (USO), City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) and Department of Engineering and Public Works (DEPW) attended a meeting on flood mitigation.

The 4th Meeting of the Flood Mitigation Committee on the Detailed Design Study for the Pasig-Marikina River Channel Improvement Project-Phase IV was held at Eastwood Richmonde Hotel, Quezon City last Friday, February 7.

The project is focused on several cities in Metro Manila, specifically those near the Marikina River and Mangahan Floodway, as well as Cainta and Taytay Municipalities.

It also aims to develop a Flood Control Plan and River Channel Improvement Plan targeted to control the flood discharge distribution to river basins and surrounding cities.
